Part-Time Operations, Design & Marketing Assistant
Our client is a well-respected architectural firm based in San Diego, known for its focus on ground-up development and architectural design. They are looking for a true unicorn—a versatile and resourceful professional who can seamlessly blend administrative support, design coordination, operations management, and marketing.
This role is uniquely suited for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys both the creative and business sides of architecture and real estate, and is eager to grow with the company.
Starting as a part-time position, this opportunity has the potential to evolve into full-time as the individual develops and takes on increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
Serve as liaison between the Principal, internal teams, property managers, and external partners.
Assist with insurance, banking, billing, and onboarding processes across multiple companies.
Operations & Asset Support
Provide administrative support across affiliated companies.
Assist in managing development-related tasks including acquisitions, bank/loan coordination, billing, and vendor relationships.
Support asset management for multiple apartment buildings (approx. 150 units), coordinating with property managers and tracking performance updates.
Design & Studio Coordination
Assist with design submittals, presentations, graphics, and branding packages.
Support interior design tasks and client-facing deliverables.
Help organize design-related materials, numbers, and documentation to ensure timely submissions.
Marketing & Client Relations
Manage and schedule social media content across platforms.
Coordinate award submissions, press opportunities, and publication features.
Assist with marketing collateral, branding initiatives, and client presentations.
Support client relationship management by ensuring timely follow-ups, touchpoints, and communications.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar support role.
Familiarity with architecture, design, or real estate environments preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with clients, investors, and partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or design software a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Role Details
