Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety across all job sites, fleet operations, and field personnel. This role is ideal for a hands-on safety professional who understands electrical construction, thrives in the field, and is passionate about building a strong, proactive safety culture.
This position will be based out of Nash, TX, with regular travel to our Dallas Metroplex operations.

Safety Program Management
- Maintain and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Manage the company safety manual and site-specific safety plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 & 1926, NFPA 70E, and applicable regulations
- Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and job hazard assessments
- Enforce electrical safety standards including arc flash, lockout/tagout, PPE, and energized work procedures
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced jobsite safety inspections
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Work closely with foremen and project managers to plan safe work
- Conduct new-hire safety orientations
- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Train crews on fall protection, ladders, PPE, trenching, equipment, and electrical hazards
- Maintain training, certification, and compliance records
- Investigate injuries, near-misses, and vehicle accidents
- Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans
- Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and medical providers
- Support return-to-work programs
- Maintain driver qualification files and monitor MVRs
- Oversee post-accident drug and alcohol testing
- Enforce fleet safety and vehicle policies
- Track and manage Experience Modification Rate (EMR)
- Review loss runs and injury trends
- Work with insurance brokers and carriers to reduce claims
- Maintain contractor compliance platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, Procore)
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Construction safety experience (electrical construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 & 1926
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, and electrical hazards
- Experience with accident investigations and workers’ compensation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites
- CSP, CHST, or ASP certification
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510
- DOT compliance experience
- First Aid / CPR Instructor certification
- Electrical or industrial construction background
